Actress Kim Ah Joong, who recently came under fire for tax evasion, has opened up about the matter through her personal Twitter.
On October 2nd, the actress tweeted, “Life is not a novel story where everything is planned out beforehand, organized, and neatly constructed.” This statement was taken from a famous novel by Gong Ji Young called “Mackerel“.
Kim Ah Joong was investigated by the Korean Internal Revenue Service, and was penalized with a 6-digit fine for evading her taxes. The actress put a hold on all her activities, and has been relatively quiet. She made a tweet back in September apologizing to her fans, and this recent message was her first in a month.
Netizens expressed their joy as they commented, “I’m so happy to know that you’re alive! ^_^“, “You’ve returned! I’ve missed you so much T_T“, and “Don’t give up, fighting!”

Actress Park Min Younghas cut off her lustrous long hair for the first time since her debut for her role in the upcoming KBS drama,’Man of Honor‘.
The ‘City Hunter‘ star will be playing the role of ‘Jae In’, a cheerful nurse who lives in hard conditions. “She thought that cheerful cropped hair would be better suited for the role than her long hair,” revealed a representative. “All of her thoughts are focused on making a successful transformation into Yoon Jae In.”
The title of the drama is a pun on her character’s name; while the title means ‘man of honor’, it can also literally mean ‘Young Kwang’s Jae In’. Young Kwang is the name of the male lead in the drama.
Aside from Park Min Young, the drama is said to have drawn a list of heavyweights including Chun Jung Myung, Lee Jang Woo, and Lee Jin (of Fin.K.L fame). It will start broadcasting on October 12th.

A teaser of a Japanese drama starring actress Kim Tae Hee has been released!
On a popular online community, a post entitled, “Four minutes of Kim Tae Hee’s Japanese drama teaser,” was posted recently, revealing the drama ‘99 Days with a Star‘ that is planned to be broadcast next month in Japan.
The clip features Kim Tae Hee and the male lead Nishijima Hideto making different facial expressions to each other while “Dancing Queen” by ABBA is playing in the background. When Kim Tae Hee is asked what her favorite food is, she answered “Takoyaki,” while Nishijima replied, “Nigiri”.
Kim Tae Hee commented, “I’m waiting anxiously as I get to work with a Japanese actor and director. Though we speak different languages, I hope that we’re able to communicate on set well. Hopefully, it’s a drama that both Korean and Japanese people will find enjoyable.”
