Facebook May Launch iPad App And Project Spartan Early Next Week

TechCrunch reports that Facebook is gearing up to launch the much awaited iPad app and Project Spatran as early as next week and it could even be at the iPhone 5 launch event on October 4th.
Project Spartan is an HTML5 based mobile application platform for Facebook apps, which would work on mobile Safari.
Facebook’s widely anticipated iPad app, whose code had been bundled along with the Facebook for iPhone app and later pulled out, was apparently almost ready back in May this year. But due to Facebook’s decision to indefinitely hold the release of the now-fully-complete app, Jeff Verkoeyen – a lead developer of the iPad app quit the company in frustration and has joined Google.
TechCrunch reports that it is still not confirmed if Facebook with launch iPad app and Project Spartan at the event or Facebook will launch it at its own event on Monday, but it has Apple’s blessings.
