Sony Ericsson Satio

Originally called Idou, the Sony Ericsson Satio is an unlocked SIM free phone allowing you to choose your favorite provider. It is compatible with all 2G GSM networks, global GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, as well as 3G HSDPA 850/1900/2100 in the Americas and 3G UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 in Europe.
Combining a 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor with a Symbian v9.4 operating system, you are assured of high-speed web browsing, GPS connectivity, and management of your video, music, and other files. It features a WAP 2.0/HTML Web browser. It connects wirelessly to the Web with its Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g either to your home or office network, or to any hotspot it can find. It is also DLNA-enabled, connecting without need for wires with your other DLNA-capable equipment. And if you do not like having wires hanging from your earphones while listening to your favorite music, you can use the phone’s Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP capability to deliver stereo music to a compatible earphone set.
The Symbian operating system is compatible with Windows 7. This allows you to connect the phone with your PC with a USB cable and access Media Go, a video and audio player that facilitates the organization, transfer, and syncing of your audio, video, and photo files between the phone and PC via its AutoSync feature. Internal memory is 128 MB, but this is upgradeable up to 32 GB with a microSD card. In fact, an 8 GB card comes with the phone. RAM, on the other hand, is 256 MB.
The display is a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen with 16M colors and a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. User interface auto-rotate is activated by an accelerometer sensor. On the other side of the display screen is a camera lens that is covered for protection. The camera boasts of a 12.1 megapixel sensor for extremely clear and crisp photos that can be enlarged and printed without any significant loss of detail. It even incorporates face detection technology so that your photos will never again end up with blurred faces. And for shooting in low-light conditions, the camera is supported by a Xenon flash.
