LG G2x 4G Android Phone – T-Mobile

The G2x is equipped with a Dual-Core 1Ghz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, the first of T-Mobile’s smart phones to feature such a powerhouse under its hood. It runs on an Android 2.2 operating system but this is upgradeable to 2.3. Internal memory is 8 GB with a RAM of 512 MB. Memory, however, can be upped to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The display screen is a large 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and 480 x 800 pixels. It has an accelerometer sensor that automatically rotates displayed images when the phone is rotated. An onscreen Android QWERTY keyboard allows you to type messages for your emails. As an alternative, you can choose the Swype virtual keyboard so you need not lift your fingers off the screen when keying in a word but simply slide it from one letter the next.
Owing to its use of Android operating system, the phone has an easy access to popular Google mobile services, as well as your corporate and personal emails, contacts, and calendars that are supported by Gmail and Exchange Server.
The phone is designed to work with T-Mobile’s UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G network, automatically connecting with the best available network. This guarantees that you are always using the fastest data speed available when logging on the Internet. With its Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, you can quickly access the Net wherever it detects hotspots.
For connecting with other devices, it has Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity for your wireless headsets or ear-in speakers, and an HDMI output for connection to your HDTV. It is also DLNA-enabled allowing you to wirelessly connect with other DLNA equipment to share photos, videos, music, or other files.
The LG G2x Android Phone has two cameras –a rear-facing 8.0-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a front-facing one with 1.3 megapixels. In addition to still photos, the cameras can record and playback videos of 1080p HD and 3D.
